Is there any supplement that strengthens ligaments?

After a recent visit to the vet, I have been informed that Heidi has weak ligaments in her front legs. She was given special shoes in her front to help support them. I want to know what else I can do to help strengthen these ligaments.

Any suggestions?

I would look at SmartTendon from smartpak. I have had good results with many of their products and they offer a two month guarantee so you get your money back if you don't see a difference. They offer other products for ligaments as well like Recovery Eq. Did the vet seem to think this is a permanent condition for her or is this something she can strengthen? I know tendon/ligament injuries usually take a long time to heal and strenghten back up. Be careful of deep footing. Best wishes to you and your horse
