Tribute vs. Strategy vs. Patriot? Or maybe something else?

I have a 10 year old Percheron/TB cross who is a very hard keeper. It took me about six months of trial and error, but I finally got a good weight on him, and was able to keep it on with Patriot Performance 14% pelleted feed.
I also have an 8 month old Quarab filly who doesn't seem to like hay. I know babies can look a little lanky and thin from time to time as they hit growth spurts, but this 'thin' period is lasting a little too long for my taste. I don't want her on a ton of grain, but I need to get some weight on her and make sure she's getting the nutrients she needs.
The owner of the barn where I board (who has a license in horse nutrition) said that my filly can't switch to the patriot feed, but that I could put both of them on Tribute or Strategy, since they're complete feeds, and it would help keep weight on both of them. (Yes, they would still both be getting free choice hay/grass. I wouldn't rely solely on grain.)
I would like to have them both on the same feed if possible, but I want to make sure it's the best for both of them. I've been doing a ton of research, and the only thing I've found that's swaying me more towards Tribute than Strategy is that apparently Strategy changes their ingredients from time to time depending on food costs.

Anyone have any experience with either of these, or recommend one over the other? Or maybe something else?

I like Strategy and I particularly like Strategy Healthy Edge which is higher in fat. Neither Strategy is designed as a "complete feed", if that's what you want then Omolene 400 is designed to be complete. I'm not familiar with Patriot or Tribute feeds so can't comment on them.

Oh, for an 8 month old (I almost missed that!), I would not use the Healthy Edge, it's designed for 2 years and older. I'd give her/him Ultium Growth formula instead. AWESOME STUFF!
