I've been giving my gelding a LOT of medicine lately, and he HATED it... Until I gt smart. I started grinding up his meds and mixing them with dark corn syrup and molasses. It has worked like a charm! Instead of evading me when he sees me coming, he actually licks his medicine up out of the bowl like its his favorite treat! I no longer have to use a syringe to squirt it into his mouth!

I put senior and joint supplements in his triple crown senior feed, and then make a nice mash with it. He used to turn his nose up at that but I started adding applesauce and corn syrup. Now he's ALL about that!
