Heck, its more than all 17 horses, the goats, the dogs, the cats, the chickens and the rabbits...
Trade you! If I even smell cookies I gain weight!!
I grow a huge garden and have a small orchard so the grocery bill wouldn't be an issue for me.
I won't trade you on the horses though...like me if my horse just gets a wiff of grain he gains weight. 3oz of ration balancer daily and free choice first cut hay is all my crew needs to be complete butterballs.

I used Nutrena feeds for my filly and liked it. Started with Life Cycle Mare and Foal, but when they stopped producing it I went Safe Choice Special Care mixed with half Safe Choice Senior. I originally just did the special care but my filly was still just too ribby for my liking, and I couldn't feed her more than 3 lbs of cereal grain a day or she starts acting like her belly hurt. It worked for her, but also had to be supplemented with 20+ lbs of grass hay, 7 lbs of alfalfa, and 1 1/2 lbs of rice bran! Definitely better than any of the Purina feeds I've tried though.

I think my gal had a case of the high metabolism too. Only 14hh (and barely that), 2 years old, and eating the amount her two pasture buddies ate together!

I feed the Triple Crown low starch and safe starch feeds to my lot who get fat on thin air
The Sentinel Senior put weight very quickly on the mare I bought that was on the thin side of what I like to see but now she's on a permanent diet like the others

I envy a huge garden and small orchard! We are in the process of adding a green house to our Mini Horse barn. I have yet to be successful in keeping food good using a root cellar of sorts, so our garden has only done us good for a few short months. We would be lost without the goats milk & the chickens though. Husband was having a terrible time keeping weight on until he started to make 3/4 of a gallon of raw goats milk at 6 eggs a part of his every day routine.

Tell ya all what, I will gladly give away some metabolism if it means that I can get through an hour without having to stop & stuff my face with something to keep from fainting. Or if it means that my husband will stop single handedly clearing out 9x13 pans of lasagna, you know, to wash down the goat milk and half dozen eggs

This is all very off topic, sorry OP!
