Wet hay, NO eating from a roundbale and living outside will keep the symptoms in check.

He is doing good! Breathing sounds stuffy BUT he does have rather large false nostrils so the vet said he would have noisy breathing regardless

I would seriously consider the wet hay for him. It reduces dust tremendously which helps him getting rid of what's stuck in the lungs and eventually he'll breathe normally.

I put hay in a clean wheelbarrow, water on top, hay completely submerged then after half hour dump the water and feed. I was always surprised how dirty the water gets.

The eeeeeeeeewwwwwwww definitely came out of my mouth first time. And I'm VERY picky with hay to begin with.
