    This point is always overlooked when people offer advice on diet. Having lived in the western US for most of my adult life, I always have to use alfalfa as a mainstay. This year it is the forage available on a large scale. Economics play a huge role in our choices as I'm paying 2x for alfalfa and if I could find grass, I'd be paying 4x. Do the math on 100 ton.
