    Winter time feeding

    Be sure to add 2 lbs of forage/feed for every 10 degrees below 50 degrees F.
    The digestion of forage caused heat producing bacterial fermentation in a horses large intestine.
    So to keep your horse warm.. add more Forage/hay . ;)
