I had my mare on MG Super 12-8, and upon advice of numerous people, today I switched her to Safe Choice. She is suddenly having diarrhea.I am really concerned about this, and hope it's just the change in feed. She's eating and drinking, eating her salt block.
When you say you just switched, how much? Over how many feeds per day? It's always good practice to feed anything loll title & often rather than big/infrequent meals & it's important to make changes gradually, adding a little new to the old at a time.
Not familiar w your old feed, but depending how sensitive your horse, safe choice... May not be, as its not negligible in sugar/starch. Posted via Mobile Device
I believe its about a week it should take to switch a horse over to feed. UNLESS the feed is similar... like safe choice to dumour equistages. Though it seems like the two feeds you switched between are fairly different feeds? Sounds to me like you switched her to fast.
Loll title?? WTH is corrective text on, to change 'little' to that?? :-/ Yeah, at least a week, pref 2 & depends what/how much feed. Posted via Mobile Device
