Would it be alright if?

I feed rice bran or alfalfa cubes and a multi vitiman and canola oil?
He's is a 10 yo gelding worked 3-4 days a week about 2 hour rides and heavy work he had good quality hay.

Depends on the horse, you should talk to your vet about his needs.

If he was my horse and in that much work, I would have him on a grain of some sort to replace some calories. The alfalfa will replace some, but not enough, IMO.

should be great just make sure he is getting plenty of hay and watch his weight closely

I have been called the NSC Nazi more then once ... I hate traditional feed methods of loading our horses up on grains and junk food :)

I will most likley just stay with hisw current diet as he is doing quite well.
