My filly has been fluctuating weight the past couple months, generally between a 4 and 5 on the Henneke body condition chart, which I feel is too thin. I can feel her ribs and her tail head although they seem well covered, her spinal column has decent padding on each side but I would like her to be more rounded (if that makes sense) her hip bones are sticking out a bit more than I want. I am feeding her free choice timothy/northern grass hay and 5lbs ADM JuniorGlo a day with about 1/2lb HealthyGlo stabilized rice bran for added fat/calories, in 2 feedings, along with Dynamite vit/min sup, and Dyna-pro pre/pro biotic. She also gets free choice loose minerals, Dynamites 2:1, 1:1, NTM salt, and Izmine as well as an iodized salt lick, all are offered at all times. She has a little bit of a belly, but has been dewormed, is due again in the next month or so, I may dose them early. Any advice? She is around 500lbs right now, 11 month old welsh/arab filly.
