17 days old. ;D

Well, its official. Rafe is now 17 days old.

This is one of the reasons why none of my horses are afraid of water. This is what happens when it rains. LOL

And here is a video. Bessie is just way too protective. LOL

Poor Dobe - he looks like he wants to make friends SO badly!!!

I think they are pretty sweet but I think that spoiled would be a better word for it. LOL. Thank you all.

@ Qtswede: Yeah, I kinda feel sorry for him a little bit but not much. He is always trying to act like a herd stallion and dominate every other horse he is with. When I caught him early yesterday morning, I had to tie Bessie in the corner of the pen and open the gate to the pasture so I could coax Dobe in. Once he was in and I shut the gate, I went around to let Bessie loose. Dobe was just walking up wondering who the new horse was (he has never met either of them) and Rafe arched his neck, pinned his ears, squealed, and reared up at Dobe. It was just the cutest thing I have ever seen and I wish I'd had my camera. I was worried there for a minute that Dobe would run at him but he just kinda looked at him with that "Who in the heck do you think you are runt?" look and walked away. When I turned Bessie loose, it didn't take her very long at all to put Dobe in his place. They will make friends eventually.
