2013 Sport Horse Nationals Photos and results from GCA & Sport Horses

I will start off by saying that I am quite sad that Woodie did not get any photos of GA Ehstaire, aka 'Slinky' and would LOVE to know who was the photographer for the Dressage Rings. I would be glad to purchase one in order to include it with the others here.

So if you know who or where I might find a picture of Slinky during SHN's, please please please let me know ~ Thanks in advance!

Hy Wynds, a Esquire+ son that we bred & sire to our double Esquire+ yearling colt was SHN Top 10 Stallion Sport Horse In Hand in both Open and ATH

GA E-Khwaytor, another Esquire+ son we bred was SHN Top 10 in 3 under saddle classes, and Open SHIH Purebred Geldings (3rd out of 49) and Reserve Champion ATR Hunter Hack

GA E-Magination, our Esquire+ daughter out of our Swedish Warmblood Mare was SHN Champion Yearling HA/AA Filly with me showing her.

Mondavi GA, our double Esquire+ colt sired by Hy Wynds and out of GA E-Vangeline SHN Top 10 Yearling Purebred Colt with Robert showing him

Hy Class Affair, sired by the Esquire+ son Hy Wynds and out the TB Mare Celebrity Affair, SHN Top 10 HA/AA Yearling Gelding

And as shared early in my post unfortunately I do not have any pictures of the Esquire+ son we bred GA Ehstaire who was SHN Top 10 First Level (test 3) out of a class size of 30+. Hope to get a pic of him soon!

I have to say that being the breeder of 5 out of the 6 horses that showed at SHN's this year and having them all do well has been an experience like no other. There were four Esquire+ kids and two grandkids showing and each one of them received at least one National win with others winning multiple!

It was brought to my attention during a phone call on our way home from the show that Esquire+ had sired both young and mature winners in the SHIH classes, in the Dressage Ring AND the Jumper ring as well. The only place he did not have a representitive was in the carriage classes. Maybe we should breed one of those as well!

Thanks for the opportunity to share our sheer excitement here with everyone!

Thank you everyone!! This was shared today from a friend who captured this on their cell phone. It is a photo of my very very happy husband with a couple of the ribbons Maggie won for her class ~ It just happened to also be his birthday!

Working on getting some video footage together to share later on as well

Quick question, what happened to the warmblood inspection at Campbell Springs this year? I was REALLY looking forward to going!

The Director was killed in a car accident shortly before the original scheduled date and we had to cancel. Then a new director came on board and was in fact able to do the inspection but on a different date.

We tried to get enough participation on short notice but were not successful. We will do another in 2014 for sure! I've got a full sibling to our now National Champion filly due and will surely want to take him/her ;)

Thank you for the congrats as well. Much appreciated!~
