Adorable ponies in fly sheets

LOL, I just love new blankets and clean ponies. The mud has finally dried up and Zierra looked SO adorable in her new fly sheet, so did Justus, I had to snap some pics!

Hard to believe this is a 70" sheet and she's actually 72" - durn Arabs defy measurement logic!

O hai, I'm Zierra and I'm the cutest thing since sliced bread!

Cinder in a not so new fly sheet - Shay-las buying her a new one because this one is a hunk of crap.

Justus! She also defies logic - she's a 72" and this sheet is 68"! I swear we're measuring them right, they just have funky bodies. Jynx is a 74" in measurement AND every sheet/blanket I put her in!

If it makes you feel better, Weatherbeetas do fit large; generally you go a size down to fit correctly, (ie for a horse that measures 78", you get the 75" blanket) and their blankets go up in 3" increments.
Anyways!! Cute blankets - I love the mesh Shedrow best personally then again I have a thing for that baker plaid thing.

I think the smaller ones just have a funky shape from being pony sized. Zierra is a 72" and 14.3hh but very dainty and Justus is a 72" but 13.3hh and so she's very short and blankets tend to engulf her.

I have the exact same Shedrow for Jynx and it fits her like a glove. I do know the Weathebeeta's fit large, I almost bought a 68" for Zierra because it would have fit but I didn't like the cost for what I was getting, I prefer the Shedrow's all around personally. I had a Shedrow Gold for Zierra for 5 years and I finally am buying her a new one only because the fill has flattened quite a bit and Zierra doesn't grow a coat. She only put a couple minor tears in it that I fixed with fishing line. I am buying another one, I really love the quality and heaviness!
