all i can say is shocked and excited!

my friend oscar owns, trains and breeds this 16hh blue valentine/joe hancock foundation quarter horse stallion. i have admired the gentleness and beauty of this stallion forever and have always wanted one of his babies but they are always already claimed. anyway, last night i get an email asking if i want Roan of Hearts because he is hasn't had the time to devote to him like he deserves because he is pursuing a career in law enforcement. la pd wont let roh be his mount as he isn't willing to geld him because of his bloodlines. he is so well trained and i feel so humbled to be offered this horse. he told me he doesn't want anyone else to take him because he doesn't think anyone else would love, care, or devote themselves to him like i would. my heart has been racing since last night. he will be joining my herd of "wild" mustangs in march of next year! this will be the best 30th birthday ever! i will have my herd of dream horses complete as soon as his hooves hit the property! oh boy, my heart is fluttering because i never in my life thought this would happen! ooooo him and sam elliot just make me swoon!

I'm very happy for you, it's great to receive a horse that you wanted so much. It seems that you never dreamed of receiving him. Roan is absolutely gorgeous like Sam Elliot. I hope you'll have a great time whenever you'll be on his back or in his company.

I never in my life thought I would ever be blessed with the opportunity to own this horse. Oscar and I are good friends and we live about 10 hours from each other. Roan of Hearts is his pride and joy. The quality of his horsemanship shines through this gentle stallion who can ride along next to a mare like any old gelding. I am just so very surprised, blessed, humbled, thankful, in awe, shock, excited, and feeling almost like it is a dream.
