When I went to volunteer today, I decided to spend some time with the foals and get them used to be. It went pretty good, except Denali(black paint) and Ocho(Buckskin paint) would have absolutly nothing to do with me. On the other hand, Layla(Gray Paint with two blue eyes) and Brandy(Chestnut) were really curious.
I was mucking in their pen and felt something touch my back, I slowly turned around and Layla was standing behind me. It was so cute and she keep watching me muck. When I was dine I decided to sit by one of their feed buckets and see what they would do. Denali and Ocho went to the other feed bowl and Brandy and Layal just keep eating .I then put my hand onto the top of the feed bucket to see what they would od. Brandy scampered off while Layla stretched out her face and stroked her muzzle against my hand, so sweet. Later that day I was standing outside the pen and Layla came up and let me stroke her face.
So anyways here are some photos, I'll have more this weekend.
Layla, so darling!

I missed her face but I love this picture, you can really see one of her blue eyes here.

Ocho and Denali are best friends

Denali and Layla, not so much

This is Sadona, she was a starvation case. She is so sweet I just loving hanging out with her.

This is the beautiful Angelina. She was a PMU mare. She had a foal at Equine Voices, Durango. He's a blue roan paint, gorgeous! I'll have to get some pics of him tomorrow.

Ok maybe not so many pics, I'll get a lot more tomorrow!
