The Awww Factor

Frog Pond Draft Rescue, where I got Boss from, posted pictures of him as a one week old colt on their page today! Can we say CUTE!?

His dame was only 15 hands... o.O I bet Boss is a MONSTER compared to her now.

He's 3/4 Belgian, 1/4 Haflinger. And about 17 hands, although I haven't measured him. He's still got room to grow though, lol. Thanks : )

Well our intentions were to turn him into a husband horse. But seeing how my husband has lost interest in him I'm thinking (wink wink) of showing him... Getting a trainer out here and showing him dressage because I think he has the moves for lower levels and I'd LOVE to start showing. BUT it all depends. I spoke with a trainer and she told me that I should give him another year to physically and mentally mature. So until next summer he's just getting the basics. I have sat on him once and he did fine. I actually can't wait to ride his trot and canter. He looks rather comfy.

And yes I got him from Frog Pond at the beginning of the year. I was fostering Ella (the craigslist Clydesdale) for them and they brought him to me. This is JJ.
