Baby just got his teeth done, stood like a champ, with a few attempts to pull his head away, his teeth are changing, so we have a check-up in 6 months, to see how things are changing. This should help him put a little more weight on, however the vet also said, she can see that he has grown in the last 2 months since she was here last, so that is why he doesn't put any fat on, he does not need it, he rather grows.
His hind end is a little weak, as both vets asserted, however, he has a leg injury, that prevents him from being worked. I cannot find the translation of what it is, but he seems to have pulled a muscle in his lower leg, one that is between the tendons and the cannon bone. As I cannot stall him, he will be out of work in his 24/7 pasture. I can attempt to enclose him in a smaller pasture, but that might not be too successful as he might try to run again, risk stretching the leg too much again, or slip and fall due to smaller space..
I am allowed to walk him, repeat our groundwork, in backing and yielding, and teach ground driving, saddling etc, all in walk.
