    Baby Surprise

Surprise baby here! A few weeks ago we moved our mares to their summer pasture, and I was going to bring the vet out to preg check Maiden, but the next day she started winking & peeing at the stallion so I figured I had big mare on my hands. As of Wednesday there was no bag on her. Friday night she pops out a foal! Hopefully this little guy will help her pick up and get over her last baby whom we lost months ago (featured in avatar). He wasn't a planned baby but maybe he's what the doctor ordered for Momma's heart. :)

Little he is! I don't think he's going to be big at all!
But he's happy and healthy, and that's what matters.

Surprise for sure! He messed me up on my baby count! Thought I had a super quick mover until I got close enough to see it was Maiden and not Rina. LOL

He's super cute, but he sure looks like a doll horse. He's so little!

He does look like he was early, but looks happy and healthy.
