The baby we found, and Mister P! (:

So Friday afternoon I was having a photoshoot, and as we were walking through the field, one of the girls said "Uh, Amanda, your horse almost stepped on a baby deer." My facial expression: O:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not knowing a thing about deer, we picked her up. She was extremely dehydrated, limp, and non-responsive. I later learned that was a survival instinct. The baby is now safe with her mother, but spent the night in my bedroom.

We syringe fed her goat milk replacer (which, luckily is the safest substitute for deer milk..) - and got her up and walking! I have more pictures, but the photographer took this:

Cute, right?

She didn't get a lot of Phillip, since we found "Bambi" - but she got one I love. :'D

HE'S SO HANDSOME. :3!!! I roached his mane.. Unevenly. But he's still adorable, right? Orange isn't his color..

Western:

Nice, right?

Awwww!

So in lies the madness, the pursuit of the impossible in the face of the complete assurance that you will fail, and yet still you chase.
