Because Standing is for Squares

I decided to visit my furry children today and this is what I found. Mr. Sonny just laying all toasty warm in the hay out in the pasture. He didn't get up when I went near him (which he normally does) so it's rare that I got some pictures of him laying down. He even let me sit next to him in the hay and he put his head in my lap and took a nap, but I couldn't get any good shots of that

Nodding off ^^

Sawing logs ^^

Oh, and just in case you're curious, all that hay? Yeah, last week it was a 1000 lb round bale.

hes hansom!! I love when they let you snuggle with them, its only happened twice with my boy for me, normally he stands up, i cherish both moments.

its amazing how quickly they can demolish round bales!

Beauty is not diminished by those who refuse to see, hear, feel or in any way sense it. If you refuse to see beauty its you who is weakened.

I know! This is the first winter we've had a round bale (our rescue was teaching the others to eat the trees ) and my mom and I were shocked at how quickly the bale was destroyed - and only by 3 horses that aren't out 24/7 and who get 2 meals a day INCLUDING hay. We told my dad that he needed to call the farmer back and get another lol.
