Before and After -- Our Horses

Dame_wolf got me started on this.

Here's my first rescue when she came in Oct 2006 -- lame, thin, very sore, lethargic...
The vet said I was wasting my time. (Sorry for the lousy picture quality)

It's really hard to take pictures of such a dark horse, but here she is now:

Thanks everyone, but I was actually hoping someone else had some before & after shots too like Dame_wolf had on her thread where her horse was overweight and out of shape -- she turned him around too! Anyone else have a story? Or from a filly to a mare? Or a photo of a bad attitude start to much improved now?

Northern ~ wow what a nice recovery!

I have a before I got my rescue (pic) and after I got her. You can tell a difference in her "mood".

This is the pic. That made me want to go look at her. This was taken at the resuce. I'm not sure how long she was there before it was taken. But look at her "grumpy" face.

And this is Legend after I had her home for bout 2 weeks with me! Lovely girl! Best girl I had thus far!

I use to have a standardbred. (I think that's what you said yours was right?) Sorry if not! I miss their ride!
