Talking Break through ride on Oliver!! whoo Hoo!

SO Oliver got moved to my trainers barn on Saturday morning and he has settled in so well! I can tell he is still stall walking but not as bad has he has in the very recent past! He hasnt spooked at in the indoor arena and Both ride where great. REally worked him alot harder on Sunday (yesterday) did alot of work on the lunge with side reins, bring him back to me, making him really focuss on my body langauge, lots of walk trot transtions!!

Under saddle she was soft like butter! He wasa bit behind my leg but Id honostly perfer that then him finding things to spook at and jump around. I had him really well of my leg and foward (took some motivating lol) but as soon as he was forward he was able to balance himself so well! He was holding himself up so much of the ride and only in the warm up was he barly buldging his outside shoulder, but wasnt hanging on my hands at all! He does so well with inside leg to outside rein and is starting to really move on his own! I am so so proud of him! His confidnance level in himself has boosted from about a 3 to a 6! For this young guy that's alot in just the hsort amount of time I have worked with him!

I am very very hopefull for our debut dressage show on the 19th of November!!! Just a schooling show, doing 2 training level tests!

Im such a proud mommy!

Wow, he looks very relaxed! Love that indoor too. Sounds like you're making very good progress with him.
