Calypso, the Cat Groomer

I can't figure out why, but this mare adores cats. If one comes in her field she will follow it and just sniff it even at times give it a groom. Here are some form yesterday morning.

As you can see the cat doesn't look one bit traumatized.

That's funny how she's so interested in the kitty....So cute!

My horses seem interested in our chickens....of course the chickens won't hold still....LOL

I guess there is always that option she might think the cats are soft. I had never thought of that. She isn't a super nozie type mare but I could see that being something she might like. I have another picture of her doing the same thing at a few months old with a kitten. The cat would actually sit in her rubber tub and they would both eat out of it. She's a sweet girl.
