WOw thank you so much for all the lovely comments.
I got Candi last year around this time. She came from my father who is a TB breeder. I had her vetted but did not have the stifles x-rayed because there was no reason. Anyway....long story short she came to me a mess....She had not been under my fathers care for about a year and was skinny and had bot eggs all over her.
I sent her for 60 days training and when she returned in Feb of this year I noticed she was ever so slightly off in the back end.
She was diagnosed with OCD lesions on both stifles. She was fortunate to have them located in a place where the bones wont glide over them. None-the-less....off to surgery she went! March 16th she had the lesions removed and I have been bringing her along ever since.
Her stifles are wonderful!!!!! So lucky with that whole thing.
She is 5 yrs old and I swear she thinks she is 3 all over again.
I have other photos of her as she has been coming along.
Let me see if I can load them from my external hd...
The first two pic are from a week after I got her to my barn.
The 3rd pic is while she was at the 60 days training.
And the ast one is after her surgery in march.
I tried to find the other photos and could not so here is a link that shows her changing as well How does she look? Health-wieght-etc!
Then the photos in the original post are the most recent.
Quite a transformation with this horse especially with all she has been through!
