Cantering *pic overload*

This is me cantering my friends mare Scarlet Mystery. My heels are awful as usual. It may look like Im jabbing her in the mouth but I promise Im not, my friend somewhow always takes when Im slowing her down, plus her mouth is always open.

And I know I don't have a helmet on, it was my choice so please don't comment on that. Just thought I'd share:

My suggestion is to bring your foot out of the stirrup a little. If you were to fall off I think your foot would get stuck in the stirrup. She's a pretty mare. : )

Love the smile on your face in the last one.

She is a very unbalanced mare, leaning something awful. I am guessing she will not need so much slowing down if you can get her more balanced instead of fighting with her.

I'm not going to critique because this is in the "fun pix" section but I will say, super cute horse and you look very happy riding her! I would suggest you get some safety stirrups for now. Cute pix!
