Hey guys, haven't update you guys on Cayden for awhile. So most of you guys know Cayden got injured three weeks ago, she was being chased by another horse and she slipped and kinda did the splits, so yeah, we had the vet out, she strained her stifle, so I can't ride her until Jan. I still take riding lessons, but only twice a month. We also got this new boarder, which is the only boarder besides me, she owns a 21 year old Appy mare named Frieda, which she said I could ride until Cayden is all better, and she has this other horse she just brought yesterday, which is the appy mare's son, he's a six year old half Appy and half Kiger Mustang, and he's taller then both his parents, he's 15.3-16hh. I only have pictures of the appy, I would of taken pics of the gelding, but I forgot to bring the camera. Back to Cayden, so first you could really see her limping at the walk, trot and canter, now you can't see it at all at the walk, and you kinda see it at the trot, it's not as violent looking, so I'm really happy about that. Okay, picture time!
This is the mare I'll be riding until Cayden is all better.
You have a very pretty horse! Sorry to hear about her injury! I went through the exact same thing last fall, my gelding was running in the mud and wiped out and went down and pulled his stiffle. So I know how frusterating and worry-some it can be. Wishing her a speedy and full recovery! Give her a healing hug from Cody (my gelding) and I!
And that appy is quite nice! I really like her, its nice to see a pretty appy so many are... well not so pretty lol and I LOVE appies
