Check out my new Western Horse! :D

Someone told me that she's too small for me. I TOTALLY disagree....she's poi-fect.

    Peek a boo!

As you can see, it fits her SOOOO well....ahahaha

I half expected a bronc-fest when I first tacked her. Instead? She fell asleep. Walked and trotted prefectly too, on the lunge.

Then it started pouring rain, so up on the deck she went with me and like 8 other people...under a metal roof...in a thunder storm. And what does she do? Absolutely nothing Everyone was amazed that she wasnt even a bit nervous, while the rest of the horses were being nutcases, freaking out at every boom xD so much for crazy horse that can't do anything, huh? Oh, and pardon her bridle path...I forgot my scissors.

Wearing her old bridle which I now dub her 'western headstall'

    DISCLAIMER

No, you smarties- I'm not going to ride her ;) actually, no one is going to ride her. But she's so pregnate now that I can't fit her in the cart, and we needed something to do. I had a shetland saddle so... I plopped it on her XD its good for desensatizing her anyways!

See, this is proof that you've done a dang fine job with her. :) And she's as cute as a button, completely relaxed and happy.

Purple is SO her colour, that and magenta/burgundy. Love it!

I'm glad you're having a blast with her :) And hope you're doing well!!

Haha thanks guys! We definitely find lots of ways to entertain ourselves, and I find that adding new things to her training every chance that I get is the way to keep her happy and attentive. Too much of one thing and she starts to act out, but teach her something new every week and she's an absolute angel!

And thanks so much Sky :) I love her to death, and it always feels great to see her so much happier than she used to be. And I'm glad you agree about the color! I LOVE purples and magenta on her, and if you look at her 'wardrobe' you'll quickly see that xD purple plaid fly mask, magenta halter, purple leg wraps, purple bridle bag, purple saddle pad...hehe. I'm almost hoping that her COLT (I've been having many talks with Mr. Tummy discussing how he just NEEDS to be a colt... >) is chestnut too so that I can keep the purple theme going!

These are the times when I wish just a little teeny tiny bit that she were atleast pony sized, or even a full sized horse. We'd have so much fun in the show ring and on the trails together ;) but I love her just the way she is, and the fact is that if she HAD been full sized, she probably would of been euthenized long ago for being dangerous. Its one thing to have a rearing, bucking, biting mini. And another to have one that is 1,000 pounds.

And hey, we still do get to go in the show ring and on the trails xD the only difference is that I'm walking right along side her rather than riding on top of her.

Country Woman- thanks! Its super cute, isn't it? Size 10 saddle. Haha

Soenjer55- nooo! This is my bay-bee ;) you're welcome to ogle her though. Lol!
