Cruiser

We had the chance to go visit Cruiser today. The weather was beautiful, and got to spend some good quality time with a very good friend(LOVE YOU FEHRGROUNDRANCH!!).

Here are a few photos of the little monster. Such a friendly colt. His dam is an absolute darling.

Such a handsome little guy!
He's going to be an absolute show stopper when he gets older.

I would be curious to see what color this guy would be if he were to ever breed. His dad throws a lot of white in his babies, many with 4 white socks and a plaza, and mom is a registered paint colored QH.

Or instead of breeding him, you could DNA test him right now and know. I don't really see anything that makes me think "definitely this gene," but QHs carry frame, splash, and sabino, which would run you $75. But I can for sure tell you he's heterozygous black because his dam is sorrel.

You are right I should. Once he gets a little older, there are a few tests that we are going to go through, and it might end up being one of them.
