Dallas is home!

I brought Dallas home this past weekend. He wasnt pre weaned so he ran around and cried the first day. The horses in the field next door have become good company for him. Although he gets upset when they leave and do their own thing.

This bay is soooo gorgeous. He has such a sweet gentle personality. I've known him for about 5 months now. He would come to my whistle before dallas was here. But now he comes because he's become best friends with Dallas.

What a lovely horse :) Congrats!

Gotta be honest, that barbed wire makes me all kinds of nervous.

As it should. Its not my fence unfortunately. The bay isnt mine either. He's in the pasture of the person who owns it.

Dallas already tried jumping the barb wire, got a gouge in his chest, but its not serious. I would like to put a fence in front of it, but I can't afford it at the moment. And most horses that I see out here in alberta are fenced behind barb wire

He makes me just want to lay next to him and cuddle! (yes, I realize this is dangerous, but a girl can dream, right....? )
