D'aww love

So Duncan and Ginger are such an odd pair-- 15 year old QH mare and yearling pony gelding. Typically I assume that Ginger is merely tolerant of the little baby that tries to get her to play, but today they did this:

They were loving on each other-- too cute!!

Here they are again all dolled up for a little girl's birthday.

I love these guys!

I love watching horses do this-- it always seems, to humans, as such a sweet moment. Personally, I was surprised to see this. It let me know that the two of them really have become good friends-- Duncan has even gotten brazen enough with her to steal a mouthful of her grain before trotting off to his bowl. They're absolutely adorable together.

Cute! Same bond between my TB and Mini.

Aww! They're so cute! I love seeing big horses and little horses together-- were you worried about integrating the little horse with the big one? I'm nervous about adding a new horse to my herd because Duncan is so small, but a mini is smaller (and a TB is taller!)
