Didn't Actually 'Ride'... But We Still Had A Ton Of FUN! (pic heavy)

My cousins and a good friend came over today as I was planning on going riding... since they couldn't go riding with me, and my other friend was riding over, we decided to catch the horses and just have some fun lunging them and playing around on them. I got my cousins and friend to take quite a few great pictures that I just had to share...!
We got all but one of our horses out... We couldn't catch ''Little Miss Crazy'' (a.k.a Ginger) so after awhile we just gave up on her and let her go nuts in the pasture...

Anyway, we caught the yearling QuarterhorsexRacking Horse filly Nugget, my uncles twenty-two year old Racking Horse mare Buttercup, my two year old Tennessee Walker gelding Dakota, and my fourteen year old Tennessee Walker mare Gypsie. We didn't do much with Nugget, so she stood tied most of the time... but we lunged Gypsie, Buttercup, and Dakota a little and rode Gypsie and Buttercup around with just their halters. I jumped up on Dakota once to see if he'd let me direct him without a bit, and he did... but I didn't stay on him but about ten minutes.

Anyway, I'm sure you're tired of reading this, so here are the pictures!

    First, there's my kitten Dumb-@ss.

Next is Ginger, also known as 'Little Miss Crazy'...

    Then there's Dakota...

But oh my gosh, T-shirt weather?! Are you kidding?! I still have at least 4-5 months before I can event think about digging out the tee's!

Thanks. Yeah, it's hard to believe it's winter here when we're wearing t-shirts because it's so warm... It felt so good yesterday...

T-shirt weather yesterday, but today it's probably going to be long-sleeved shirt weather... Alabama weather is weird. By March, though, it'll be permanent T-shirt weather here (well, usually it is... two years ago we were still wearing insulated overalls in March, lol).

It was a load of fun!!!
