Dirty Sammy and Jumping Apache

This is what happens to horses when they stand in the dam eating reeds nearly all day hehe. Then Apache jumping quite willingly, too bad I don't have good timing for photos.

Oh yeah Sam isn't tied to the gate the leadrope is just draped over it.

The pic of Sam cracks me up! It is always the light ones who get the dirtiest, some kind of cosmic rule I think!

Haha I laughed when I first found him that way. He seems to draw dirtyness to him. The only time you can't tell he is dirty is if he rolled in the sand but you soon find out when you pat him.

Apache can get quite dirty too sometimes but it is always on one side and never touches his head.

Haha I think he still beautiful too. Trust me he stayed dirty I'm not brushing him until tomorrow for my lesson because I know he will just go jump right back in the dam.

I have some more pictures of Sammy after being in the dam and I actually got some shots of him in the dam without him coming out to say hi. He wasn't as dirty today but he was definitely just as wet and the stupid bit is he nearly never goes in during summer. I guess he is just so much of a piglet he couldn't ignore the temptation of green food in the dam.
