Wink Doctor's should write prescriptions for trail rides.

I went on a perfectly marvelous 3 hour trail ride this morning.

Looking up at the big hill we're about to climb.

I thought our shadows look neat. =]

Looking down from the top of the hill.

Trails and ears.

My own, private slice of heaven. <3

Taking a break. I love the smell of horse sweat.

My girl and I.

To be continued...

This is what Ricci thought of the three hour ride, lol.

Getting hosed down.

And the following roll. Le sigh.

These hoofprints are also on my heart. <3

What a lovely little area. Does anyone actually drive up that road?

You're lucky that Ricci doesn't mind (or seem to mind) going out all that way without other horses. :)

We ran into a tractor, and sometimes we'll come across a semi and whatnot cutting down trees. Ricci doesn't mind though. Once we ran into a cop, he asked if we could trade black and whites, haha.

And yes, I am lucky that Ricci doesn't mind going out alone. She loves trails, she has endless energy on them.

I must say, I'm normally not a fan of blue-eyed horses, but Ricci may have a fan of me. Lovely mare! Looks like it was fun.
