Cool Does this look like a good horse?

I have never owned a QH so I would like to know if this one has good conformation, sounds/looks calm, and is worth the money.
This is the description:Nice well built 5 yr old gelding 14 hands has been ridden all over the place by 8 yr old girl . Will carry a flag has been around fire works been to rodeos and ridden in the grand entry , has been running barrels on a local level the past year. He is not at his full potential but knows his pattern . Does not spook on trails has been around cattle. Safe for young rider . Could be registered but papers were never submitted pedigree is available . He is doc bar on the top side and Shawnee bug ( running bred ) on bottom. Asking $1100

Only one of those pictures are really okay for a conformation picture, but as some QH go, he seems croup high. He also looks camped out behind and seems to have a short neck.

What are you planning to do with him? Good conformation changes depending on the discipline.

Mainly trail riding and possibly a little bit of jumping or barrels.

You need to check the cost to register him. He may not be able to be registered now. Go to the AQHA site and look up registration rules.
He does not look camped under to me, he is standing wonky in the one pic.
The short neck could be the angle the pic was taken . He does look a tad butt high and slight downhill build.

Repost this in the confirmation section. This is a Pictures section for people to show off and we are not really allowed to say anything bad or critical in this area. Not saying he is bad, but figuring you are looking for just honest opinions. Scroll up and read the "horse pictures forum guidlelines you'll see what I mean. But even a free horse Id probably get a vet check with a vet familiar with your sport. Sucks to be stuck with an unsuitable horse.
