    Duchess' first day home!

So Duchess arrived around 2:20-2:30ish today. I walked her around a bit and then we kinda let her graze around in her own little paddock for a while. About 30min went by and I gave into my grooming twitches. Lol

So, I went out and brushed her down and then left her alone for a bit and then went back out and brushed her mane. Her tail has a bit of a snarl in it so I didn't want to pull on it too much. We're going to try and get it out tomorrow.

Every time I went out, I had a carrot in hand so she's already voluntarily coming up to me when I approach her which makes me feel good.

She lets me hang on her neck and back too. =D Hehe I wuv my new pony!

My instructor says she looks like a stud in this picture. LOL

I'll post the video of her first time in the field with the gang as soon as it loads up!

Lol yeah well she's maintained her weight in a sand lot so we'll have to keep a close eye on her with all this grass. O.o

Its been raining every night after 5pm usually so my instructor is having to mow twice a week to keep everything under control!!

My horses would be sooo happy to be there....lol

Yeah you will have to watch to be sure that she doesn't founder or colic out there with all the grass.

Me thinks she likes the fresh grass (trots two steps, GRASS, trots two steps, GRASS) And I agree. Don? Is indeed in love, lol

She is a gorgeous mare, I think you made an excellent choice

Lol yeah John. He's stuck to her like glue. Every couple of minutes she lets out a squeel and a kick to tell him to back the heck off. LOL

    YAY that she is home!!!

John and her are too cute.It reminds me of Gem and Vega's relationship. Gem is like head over hoof in love with Vega and Vega could seem to care less.
