A few recent shots from around home of Emir (12 year old SE Arab gelding) and Gitana (10 month old Paso Fino x Andalusian filly). Gitana is still in mid-shed, pretty awkward, but her summer coat is coming in a lovely rich colour.

These are from today.

And from a few weeks ago.

Such ridiculous faces!

YES! It's so nice to have them in together. They are rather in love now. I had them separated by electric wire for a few months and then it came down a few months ago, it's been completely fine ever since.

Thanks again for the support when she first arrived, I've had similar things with my dogs where they don't get along to begin with and my mind goes to worst case scenario "this is never going to work, what am I going to doooooo" kind of thing. I should know by now that things just take time sometimes :) It all works out in the end.

That last one you should submit for photo of the month. It's a prize!
Oh good idea! Haha maybe I'll do that :) Thanks!

Gitana is so elegant, even as an awkward not-quite yearling. I love her fine-boned face. Emir is gorgeous too, I don't want him to feel jealous lol.

I love the photo of Gitana standing between the trees. It has that lovely mystic quality that you have the knack of creating in your pictures.

ETA the slobbery mouth photo is hilarious. Nothing elegant or mystic about them in that one

Aww, thanks :) I do think Gitana is quite an elegant little beast considering her awkward stage. I love her eyes <3

Your horses are beautiful and I absolutely love the fantasy feel your photos have! :loveshower:
Thank you! People have said this about the fantasy feel, I'm not what I do to make it as it's not on purpose, but I'm glad you like it!
