Everyday Life

No, I have not dropped off of the face of the earth, much to my horses' dismay.. Lately I've been riding my childhood mare - and when I say lately, I mean since around the beginning of the year - to let my mom run barrels on our gelding, Big Daddy. In the meantime, I have been training Sissy to barrel race and have put the first few rides on my mom's gelding, Otie. After my ride today (which was cut short because I was stuck on babysitting duty), I took my amazing camera out and took some pictures! They are mainly of Otie today because he was being so photogenic for once! The only editing that I have done is brightness/contrast, and sorry, but the quality is not as great because I had to resize. Without further ado, here are the pictures!

I seriously think that this is Otie's new favorite "trick" Dork.

Mr. Gorgeousness, also known as Big Daddy.

Playing around with my camera, backing up as fast as I can, while squatting, and chanting, "The redhead is coming, the redhead is coming..!" -might have something to do with a movie I have watched recently.. haha!

Awh, the boys are getting along for once!

Sissy! She got too close to me so her head got chopped out of the picture, lol.

Sooo, she made me get up and move back so I could get a nice picture. Meaner.

For some reason, I absolutely love this picture of Otie! Maybe it's the colors, or maybe the angle.. I don't know, I just like it!

The Queen of Laziness waiting patiently for me to put the camera away and bring me her food!

Last, but not least, I thought this was a cool picture, but now every single time I go out into the pasture, her whiskers are going to bother me..!

Skyseternalangel likes this.

Strength lies within the heart but the strength to trust lies between the horse and his rider.

Thank you! Haha, yeah, and he knows it, too!
