I'm pretty sure she's on the downside of her heat cycle. I think I've figured out that when she's in heat, she's a sweetie, but as she comes out of it she gets crazy.
I haven't ridden her in forever as well. :( My saddle doesn't fit her at all anymore and I'm mildly terrified of riding on asphalt without a saddle so I can't ride on the trails. I think I'm going to go get some running shoes today and start taking her for runs on the trails just for something to do since lessons and lunging have to get boring for her.
The other exciting thing is that there's only one weekend until camp! We're heading over there on June 11th and we'll be there all summer! It'll be great. Lacey loves camp. I can't wait to go around riding her bareback+a halter.
She's kind of a fatty right now.... All she has to eat is grass, her ration balancer plus a few little supplements and she looks like this. It's ridiculous. You can see how "OMG guyzzz" she was being... haha
Compare to her winter "Ima Yak" self...
And this one was just kinda cute:
Another cute one:
Then I took her back into her field and let her go in hopes that she'd run around a bit and tire herself out before her lesson (it did not work).
And the required eye shot. I'm impressed with her forelock, last fall it was barely touching the area of above her eye and now it's below her eye in some places!
