Finally...couple pics from last months ranch rodeo

They usually have a photographer at these things so you can purchase pics. Photogragher didn't show up, so everyone shared photos...got a few today in an email.

These are all from one event out of five, Steer Dragging. Team has to hold the line, no trash, one roper in the herd at a time. Rope steer, drag it into holding pen. No hazing help from team. 2 loops per roper.

Wish we could of got pics of the Mugging. We got down and dirty wrestling steers!
1> Crystal N. riding Chester
2> Robin S. riding the yellow mare
3> Robin S. " " " "
4> Me and Gracie
5> Gracie pulling one out
6> Pulling into the pen(about ruined a brand new rope on the corner of the gate)

Our team placed 2nd for the all-around.

I DON'T LEAD 'EM AND FEED 'EM, I RIDE 'EM AND SLIDE 'EM.

LOL, I can rope but not well enough for any sort of competition. Now that there are no calves to work, I get to rope maybe 5 or 6 head per year....maybe.

Those are some awesome pictures and Gracie certainly looks like a really nice, steady horse.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Looks fun but I can't rope worth a darn. The stationary steer is the extent of my roping knowledge I'd join ya for some penning or sorting though!

Life is like a camera. Focus on what's important, Capture the good times, Develop from the negatives and if things don't work out, Take another shot.

LOL hey gals, the girls that say they can't rope, usually rope the best..tee he

Hell, we all miss! These girls that have been traveling to all WRRA sanctioned ones said the same thing, "we all make the same mistakes".

Gracie is awesome, she's my girl, tough little pony.
Dobe would look nice out there.....
