Finn pictures - I was bored.

The things I do with rain-induced boredom and a youngster with the patience of a saint. Lol

BTW braiding is sooo not in my skill set. Obviously. I crapped out by the time I got to his forelock though. I suppose I should have bothered to do something about his shaggy ears and beardy face. Whoops.

So here's Finn, 28 months old. (3/4 Shire, 1/4 Paint)

(I don't know what he is doing in this picture to make his neck look non-existent lol)

Aw, Finn is such a cutie. He's finally starting to grow into himself a bit. I envy all of you with the big drafty types to play with. I keep telling my hubby that I have plenty of stall space now, he should buy me something 18hh or so to play with, lol. He responds that he will be glad to buy me a bull and let me train it to ride.

Thanks! He's getting there~ He's crazy butt-high right now so I suspect he's headed into (another) growth spurt. Argh!

I think you need a drafty. *nod-nod* I think everyone should have at least one.

Thanks, guys! He's a good kid This was my first attempt at the scalloped braids, since I couldn't be bothered pulling him and his mane is too long to do traditional buttons or rosettes right now.

Aw, Finn is such a darling <3. He does still look so young and gangly LOL. I am so used to seeing my tub-o-lard running around that he skews my view of everything else.

LOL Smrobs! Well Rafe looks lovely and balanced though. Finn grows upwards, and only upwards, never outwards. He's only marginally wider than he was at 7 months old, despite the fact that he has put on a full 8 inches of height since then. Gah! I just have to keep my fingers crossed that what they say is true about shires growing in height first and bulk later. That or resign myself to being a tightrope walker/trapeze artist.
