Flicka's new doo...

Ms. Flicka got a body clip; she sweats horribly after only a few minutes of lunging prior to her workout, and so by the time I'm riding she's even wetter...so hopefully she'll be a bit more comfortable now, when she's worked! It's the first time I've body clipped a horse (grew up in MN). The hearts were 'just because I can'...Tehehe

And her new blanket...

Thanks...she's actually got a really big head...lol! I was only going to do one heart, but figured 'why not? I'll do one on each side' tehehe...guess that's what happens when you've groomed dogs\cats for 15 years and don't do it anymore...

She looks so cute! I got that same exact blanket for Penny because after drill team practice she is all sweaty and it's 8pm when we get back so she got freezing xP

Very cute and creative! Not bad for your first time clipping.

Thanks...It would have been much easier with a larger clipper; all I have are my 2 speed dog clippers, that I used for dog grooming, but I'm pleased with the results; if I could have bathed her, it would have been easier too, but all I could do was lightly condition her, and brush really well, to lift as much dirt as I could! I'll probably touch her up on a warm-ish day, that way I can sponge bathe her first.
