Default Fly control! Rockin' purple.

I got this silly fly tassel thingy. I love it. I grabbed it at a tack store. I'm sure if E could talk he's say "I bet they had a black one, DIDN'T THEY? DIDN'T THEY?"

They did.

He's all ready to be a member of the Red Hats and Purple Chaps!

Yes, yes I do torture him. New bell boots, and a foal blanket.

I love him.

I dig this. I didn't edit it! I panned just right, hahaha. Got it all blurry but him. It kind of messed with my head and gives me a headache.

I also put those bell boots on him for the first time. He over steps and clicks his feet sometimes. Sometimes pretty badly. We'll see if they help. He walked like his back legs were made of glue for a bit and then got over it.

Not bad! First time he wore the eye thing too and it didn't phase him.

Meh!

Pretty impressive considering in August 2008 when I got him, I couldn't even open a saddle pad near him without him spooking and bolting away from me. I can't tell you how many lead lines and halters we wrecked.

Thank goodness for slip knots and break away halters. He's great now though. Just about nothing bothers him. ...except those big scary rocks.

Hehe. What a pretty horse! =]

I should buy some of those things. Maybe they would keep my horses entertained long enough to stay away from eating so much grass. :P

Very cute! I love this horse :)

I am confused as well - why bell boots on the hind? I honestly have never seen a horse wearing them on the hind legs only. (I've seen horses wearing them on all 4's but didn't understand that either)

Because I didn't know and once someone replies to your post you can't edit it. Why? I don't know.

However I've never even owned bell boots. Someone told me to get some because my horse over reaches. She didn't tell me if they go on the front or the back. I thought his back feet were what cracked. It wasn't till after the photos were taken that someone told me they go on the front.

That's all.

*grin* no worries, I'm sure I have pictures somewhere with tack on wrong as well :)
At least you didn't have a bit on upside down - I've seen that plenty!
