Found some pics of younger days

I tried to upload these pics to the "horse pictures" gallery section, but for whatever reason they wouldn't load.

This is my old gelding "Son", that I talk about so often. This was taken at our saddle club arena sometime in the 70's. Son was in his middle 20's at the time. He was a mixed breed of palomino, QH, and appaloosa. He was all white, but had spots under his tail, around his sheath area, and some striping in his hooves.

This one was taken during a Western Pleasure Class, also taken in the 70's. Get a load of that lime green felt hat i'm wearing. (it was my favorite)

This next pic is of me,taken on Dec. 7, 1977, after receiving my "High Point Trophy of the Year" in our saddle club. This was just a few weeks after my 21st birthday.

Next picture is of Jim Shoulders and I. Jim is a world champion rodeo cowboy. This was taken after a PRCA rodeo held in 1984, in which Jim made a public appearance. We shared stories and drank lots of brews together. (sure wish I was still that skinny) I was 27 yrs old at the time.

This last pic is of me on my first pony/horse. His name was Danny and he is the one i've talked about in other posts, that would jump into the back of our pickup truck to be hauled to shows. This was taken in 1969 or 70. By the look on my face, I was not happy being photographed.

I think old favorite horses, do forgive us. I have lots of things, needing forgiven for, from Son. I really put him through the mill.
