I so wish I had others of me riding. When it was warm out I tried to get folks to photo me but they never turned out. Haha...I give some folks my camera and they can't take photo's with it. Everything comes out catty wompus..
I will see if someone will vid me today. Altho I do have some short video's of me riding tiny. I am currently trying to educate myself on the vid making thing. I have mande one with photos and one with actual video so I need to learn how to post them...
Gotta get going I have errands and a lesson later.
All I can say is make time to get photos of yourself when you are young, folks. I spent my life being very camera shy. I rode other people's horses, mostly, and show photos went to the owners. I never made any effort to ever get copies of them. You always figure it is not that important. Now that I am not showing at the levels that I used to, I am sorry I didn't make a better effort. It would be nice to have those photos, if only to SHOW people what you have done. My pictures are very hap-hazard and incomplete. Now, I make sure my students get good photos made.
Here's a couple of me and Pistol from about 15 years ago. I'll scan some more pix in tomorrow if I remember. Check out my toes over that jump!!!! In that last picture there is a teeny tiny brown horse trailer in the background, that was mine. Can you believe how tiny it was? Pistol was really thin in that last picture, it's the year I got him, he was 3 and had probably put on about 250 pounds at that time. He was so thin when I got him....
Omg- how totally cool. I love the smile on your face over that jump. We are always laughing at the barn and saying....."it won't work unless your holding your mouth right!!!" lol
Oh- those olden days!
I think Aliison hit that mark ...I rode people's horses in shows and they got the photo's...I did however have a pretty good collection f photo's, but saddly they were lost in my crazy life style.
I took video of my lesson yesterday, but it is not the greates video. I just have to learn how to post it! A project for this week.
