Future cowgirl/ horse woman

Just wanted to share a couple pic's of are future cowgirl. Her first words to me when she comes to visit is not I love you. Her first words are always " Hey I want to ride Sparkles" So every weekend I have to lead her around the pasture on Sparkles. This weekend I let her lead sparkles around a little. When she took hold of that rope her little brown eyes lite up.

That is so cute. I think you have lost your horse.

Sparkles is out of a Percheron mare and a Gypsy stallion.

I was just talking to her mom about how she always wants to ride Sparkles and she said you only have to deal with it on the weekends. I have to listen to it all week. She said every other word out of her mouth is Sparkles.

Diagnosis....Serious. No known antidote.
Continued exposure may build up antibodies, especially when she gets old enough to swing a shovel. And then again, maybe not. I am a good example.

ADORABUBBLE! And Sparkles looks like such a lovely, gentle horse - perfect for a kid's introduction. Dangerous stuff though - she can pretty much kiss goodbye to a comfortable lifestyle, early retirement etc

I can't wait until my "niece" (my partner's daughter) is old enough to hang around horses. Only a year or so to go!

What I think is funny, When they first moved back to this area and started bringing the little girl down. I would take her out with me to feed the animals. When I would ask her to help me, she would say I can't I'm little. She spent a few days with me and when they came to pick her up she was a changed little girl. She could climb up and feed the pigs. She could gather eggs she could ride on the trailer and push hay off for the cows. The I'm to small thing has stopped she now has a can do attitude. Even stuff she can not yet do she tries till her little hands are sore but she don't give up.
