Pigpen of course! I swear this horse has the uncanny ability to sniff out the smallest clod of mud.

He could be this:
Horse Mammal Vertebrate Mane Stallion

But instead he likes being...well....this...
Vertebrate Mammal Horse Mare Stallion

Horse Mammal Mare Pack animal Mane

Feel free to share your fellow pigpens ;P

They are divining rods on four feet..every single one of them. I wish I had a pic of the chestnut I had in Louisiana. Anyone living Louisiana with horses knows about the grey mud/dirt. Wet it is thick and dark and dries to about the color of dark cement. This mare had the ability to locate the one puddle that remained somewhere in the paddock (it was covered with trees) even after three weeks of New Orleans style temps (horse was boarded in Slidell) temps with no rain, and roll. I quit trying to brush it out as it took me a good hour and a half to get it all off so I always resorted to the hose..it was like watching a magic color change right before your eyes...dark gray to chestnut in 10 minutes (Ok more like 15), like a cloak falling away. She was usually pretty ticked at me and always gave me this expression like "do you know how hard I worked to look like this?" I swear she must have been a dark gray something in a past life.
