    Haflingers, my new project horses

    New project horses.
I received these two from a lady who'd owned them for about nine months. The mare was sold to her broke to ride and drive, she later found that wasn't the case and that the mare is blind.
She'd sent her off to "a trainer" who deemed the mare too far abused and traumatized to ever be used for riding and driving.
Her colt is ten months old and both were just a bit too much for her knowledge of how to train and handle so she sent them here. The colt, who I am calling Mischief more than his name which is Levi, just needs to learn the basics a yearling should know and get some time away from mom. Molly, the mare, has a little coping with her disability to do and then she will be under way for starting under saddle.

    Wish them luck! :)

Wow they sure are beautiful! I love haffies. Even their stubborn personalities! Good for you for taking her in. Blind horses can make great riding horses!

    Lol, good luck you two!

They are beautiful. The colt looks like a spitfire though!
I'm sure they'll do well with you.
