Is it Halloween yet? Dressed up pony pictures.

On a whim I started sewing a little costume for my horse.

It started out with this.




Then with some more tweaked, without any measurements. Different head piece and a saddle cloth.






They are making the same face. My boyfriend doesn't like horses.




To finally this. Smaller brow band, a breast collar that came out kind of crappy. Girth slits on the saddle cloth. I still want to take up the rein covers more they're long and heavy.

This is all just for fun, I have no real reason for any of it and I don't really know how to sew. Just for fun!

It's not perfect I need to work on the breast collar.



















He's NOT in a bad mood, I swear. He's just lazy with his ears. He knew I had a pocket full of carrots and he was being standoffish till I dished him the goods.





Still needs work. I think it'll be funny to ride him around town dressed up like a little war pony once it gets warm.

Lol, probably jeans and a t-shirt. That's as dressy as I get!

No, no, no. Not acceptable. You must get in the spirit and complete the "look"! Image that in a parade. Must take pictures of total package!

If I can get into a parade this year I'll try.

However, we're hoping to get Keegan into some parades and maybe HE can wear it.



Can you imagine him in it! Some day this week I'd like to dress him up in it just to see.

I also work for the equestrian unit of the Red Hat Society. The Red Hats and Purple Chap. I travel with them and photograph their parades. So if any parades in this area don't clash with my schedule with the Galloping Grannies then we'll see!
