Halo Update! Before/After shots

So we bought Halo in October 2012 for hubby to learn how to ride. She had been out of riding for yeaaaars but was very well bred, had very decent conformation and a temper of gold. I knew I would be able to put the miles on her.
As it turns out hubby ending deciding that riding horses is not his thing, and I am now left with this cute mare and my warmblood filly to work with.

So here she is. Halo is a registered Appy. Until I got her, she only had done western. She's coming along really nicely.

Ill post the before shots which are from October of 2012 right when we got her.











Now after a few months of work. Excuse the no helmet in the photos. I wasn't expecting to ride her today, so I didn't have a helmet on hand.

Pretty mare!!

She looks like a real nice mare and very capable of doing whatever you'd like to do. Love the name, too.

That mare has a temper like no other. She's got a personality that is INCREDIBLE but has her days where she will tell you when she's cranky but she's a true blessing in our life. I wish I had come across this girl years ago.
