Handsome boy

New photos with Danut. I really think that he looks like a pony with all that mane, so fluffy and adorable.

Me and Danut, we both were very sleepy. I was leaning on his shoulder.

Thank you . He is 6 years old, I think that 15,2 hands, and mixed breed. Mixed breed because here horses are breed without a logic so we have a lot of horses that are just mixed breed. He is currently at a horse shelter so that explains the lack of muscle on him. He is my boy, my favorite horse from there, I take care of him for more than a year now.

And here is another photo because I forgot to put it.

Awww. He looks shorter than 15.2 so I was curious.
My horse is a stump. She stand proudly at 14.2 hands, haha.

He does need some muscle but that will come within time :)
So do you acutally own him or just a care taker?

He has such a sweet face and I am sure he just loves you to pieces.

His height is just approximate, I never actually measured him. In the last photo where I am in front of him you can see how tall he is, I am 5 feet 6 inches tall so I think that he will be around 15,1- 15,2 hands. But I might be wrong .
And unfortunately I am just his care taker, I can't own a horse because I can't offer him proper conditions for the moment. I intend to own a horse in the future, this is my biggest dream actually, but I must wait another couple of years until my dream will come true. Until then I work with the horses from this shelter were I'm volunteering.
He is a sweetheart, he never offered to kick or bite, he is very sweet with kids too. For the moment the only thing that he does is pony rides in the park with the kids in weekends and besides of that he is ridden occasional by the volunteers.
I intend to do some training with him, nothing special, just some groundwork because he lack the respect for the handler and he is a bit stubborn. But he has a great personality anyway. And this is something really great if you think that he was actually abused and abandoned on the city's streets.

Awwww. I love the shaggy mane. Bravo to you for waiting until the right moment to own a horse. Too many people jump in without the proper funds or experience (I was one of those people years ago, and learned my lesson). I hope he gets a good home. A cutie like him deserves it!
